CINI testbed solution presented at the Italian Conference on CyberSecurity (ITASEC) 

February 4-7 2020

From 4th to 7th of February 2020, CINI participated to the Italian Conference on CyberSecurity (ITASEC) presenting two InfraStress papers:

• Denis Caleta, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Luigi Romano, and Lorenzo Sutton, "InfraStress: Enhancing Resilience of Industrial Plants against Cyber-Physical Threats" - The paper describes the project as a whole providing an in-depth view of the toolset and of the five case studies.

• Luigi Coppolino, Salvatore D’Antonio, Valerio Formicola, Vincenzo Giuliano, and Luigi Romano, « ICS range: A Simulation-based Cyber Range Platform for Industrial Control Systems », presenting the CINI virtual-testbed  solution, which extends the InfraStress cyber-range being developed by CINI for industrial control systems (ICS) and internet of things (IoT) based deployments.

ITASEC is the most relevant conference on cybersecurity in Italy. It gathers Italian researchers and professionals working in the field of cybersecurity, from both private and public sectors and include academia, industries, research institutions, and government. The 2020 edition counted ~900 participants, including people from important IT companies such as Accenture, Cisco, and IBM.
Luigi Romano, Luigi Coppolino, and Salvatore D'Antonio represented InfraStress at the ITASEC conference presenting the two papers described above. Additionally, Luigi Romano chaired the "Critical Infrastructures" session.
