The Municipality of Barreiro has won a prize with the InfraStress Project in the PT Global Water Awards within the category of research, development and innovation. In this nationally recognized event in Portugal, 23 international projects were in competition in four categories, with only 8 projects being recognized. This national event was held by the Water and Environment National Newspaper and the Portuguese Water Partnership. For more information go to www.ppa.pt
